“Moving Mountains, Maintaining Mindfulness”
Presenting at the NACADA Region 8 Conference is a fabulous opportunity to share new ideas, highlight noteworthy projects, and present research and best practices in the field of advising. We encourage first-timers to submit aproposal! We anticipate over 300 professionals attending the conference to improve their skills, learn best practices and find new ways take care of themselves in their professions.

Where will the NACADA Region 8 Conference take place?
The 2017 conference will be in Montana at the Holiday Inn Downtown in beautiful Missoula. The Clark Fork River runs behind it!
Conference Dates: April 10-12, 2017
Suggested Topics: We seek proposals that are informative and relevant to the field of advising, including research, high impact practices, working with unique student populations, advisor training and development, and programming. The conference theme, “Moving Mountains, Maintaining Mindfulness” can also inform proposals on topics such as improving work performance, retaining students, lifelong learning, diversity in advising, mentoring and coaching, leadership, and more.
