2015 Region 8 Countdown…23 Days! Here is some information to know!

Region 8!

I wanted to reach out to the region to share some updates about the Region 8 conference. We are less than 1 month away from this amazing conference. The conference will begin March 11th, with an amazing boat cruise around Lake Coeur D’Alene. We will conclude on March 13th with a closing Keynote address and our annual awards reception, recognizing members of our region who are being honored for their amazing work in the field of advising.

If you have not registered for the upcoming Region 8 conference, get it done now! The Early Bird registration deadline is THURSDAY February 19th! The early bird cost for this conference, for all current NACADA members is $140! If you wait, the price goes up to $175. The conference is LESS THAN 1 month away (March 11-13, 2015).

We just got an updated number of registrants for this conference. We currently have 289 advisors registered for this conference. This will be a great opportunity to network with colleagues from near and far!

Some people have asked questions about what information they need to provide to book the shuttle from Spokane airport to CDA. You will need to provide your arrival and departure flight information, so that the resort can ensure there is enough space for everyone. The shuttle cost is $45.00 round trip, and if you are booked within one of the resort rooms, this rate will automatically be applied.

Finally, we are looking for more volunteers for the conference! If you feel like rolling up your sleeves and pitching in for the conference, now is your chance to volunteer! Simply follow the link posted on the region conference hub here and sign up for one or several of the available open spots!
