Tentative Information for the Region 8 Conference!

Our Region 8 conference planning committee is diligently working towards finalizing details for the next Region 8 Conference in Vancouver BC! Until that information is set, we want to tease you with some awesome details to help with your planning.

Theme: Supporting the Whole Student: Putting the Pieces Together

Dates: Thursday, March 20 – Saturday, March 22nd
Thursday during the day will be pre-conference sessions (extra charge), check-in, and optional tours/cultural activities.  Thursday evening will be the Opening Reception.  The conference ends early Saturday afternoon.

Location: Beautiful Downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada

Room Rates:
Single/Double: $145 CDN plus tax (currently 15.74%)
Triple: add $30 to double rate
Quad: add $30 to triple rate

Check-in: 4:00pm
Check-out: 12:00pm

Parking: $26 + $7 CDN in taxes per day.  In and out privileges.

Other ways to travel:
Air – taxi to hotel roughly $32.00 CDN, transit (skytrain) to hotel $8.75 CDN plus two blocks walk, Shuttles $14.00 CDN and up
Amtrak – $2.75 CDN transit (skytrain) to hotel from station plus two blocks walk
Bolt Bus, Greyhound, Pacific Coachlines – same as Amtrak
Group discount rates will be posted if/as they become available

Registration cost is still tentative at $130 USD, and more information will come shortly on the NACADA registration page.
