Congratulations to Judi Haskins of Montana State University and her planning committee for executing a successful regional conference. This was the first time in NACADA’s 30-year history that a regional conference was held in Montana and the beautiful city of Missoula was a gracious host. Advisers and advising administrators from around the region (and other NACADA regions as well!) got a lot out of the three days of workshops and concurrent sessions themed around “Adventures in Advising: Reaching New Heights in Student Success.”
As part of the conference, Region 8 was proud to have the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) as this year’s service project. All proceeds from the raffle tickets sales went toward helping children perform with MCT.
The 2010 regional conference will be held in Seattle, Washington, in the beautiful Hyatt at Olive 8, January 25-27. Check back for more details soon!
